I'll ask you, Crawfishman, (and others too) because I was searching for this place, Poupmont, England, and the only info that came up for it was your family file at Rootsweb and my Rootsweb file on the same guy, Joseph Honore Braud, born 1767. Here are your links: worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=AHN&db=leray&id=I1845worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=AHN&db=leray&id=I4614Here is my link: worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=SHOW&db=kaseysteele&recno=36So if this guy is related to you, we must be related to each other in yet another way, besides our ALLEMAND-ALLEMAN connection. (Big surprise, right?) That's beside the point. My question is: Where is/was Poupmont, England? Any ideas? Could this have been a transcriptional error? Has anyone tried to locate this place or Joseph Honore Braud's birth records? I hadn't gotten to him until now, in searching for actual records.
